These terms apply to the PaveTrail app and this website, run by Jens Desmet. By using them you agree to these terms.

Walk safely

PaveTrail helps you find your way, but you're responsible for your own safety. Keep an eye on traffic, follow local rules and signs, and don't look at your phone while crossing the street. Routes may pass through busy streets, parks and waterfronts, and conditions can change. Use your own judgment and skip any part of a walk that doesn't feel safe.

Information can change

We check the walks carefully, but shops, restaurants, opening hours, prices and ticket offers change. We can't guarantee that every place is still open or that all information is complete and up to date. Please let us know if you find something that's out of date.

Purchases

Walks and the All-Access Pass are sold through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. A purchase gives you a personal licence to use the walk in the app on the devices linked to your Apple ID. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Our content

The walks, stories, photos and routes are © PaveTrail. You're welcome to use them for your own walks, but you may not copy, sell or republish them without our permission. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License.

Other websites

The app and website link to websites of other companies, such as ticket sellers. We don't control those websites and aren't responsible for their content, products or practices. Some links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Liability

PaveTrail is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any damage or loss that results from using the app, the website or the places they point you to. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we'll mention it in the app or on this website before it takes effect.
